This movie brilliantly showcases the true essence of life: the pursuit of happiness and the unwavering courage to chase our dreams. The protagonist, Georgia, embodies the common human tendency to shy away from stepping out of our comfort zones. Georgia is initially hesitant to confess her feelings for someone she likes, lacks of confidence to pursue her dream, and is afraid to resist her boss. However, after she knows that she has a terminal disease, she realised that she has nothing to lose.
One of the movie's most remarkable lines is when Georgia stands in front of the mirror and declares, "Next time, we'll do things different, we will laugh more, we'll love more, we'll see the world, we just won't be so afraid." Her self-motivating speech speaks to all of us, reminding us that we mustn't fear the opinions of others and that we should be bold in chasing our dreams.
The film's most poignant moment is when Georgia opens up to a group of wealthy individuals about her terminal illness. This scene is deeply moving and brought tears to my eyes. Her unwavering firmness, coupled with her calm and composed demeanour while recounting her experience, left a profound impact on everyone in the scene.
It will be an excellent movie for the family to watch together.
